Digital Account Manager/Senior Account Manager/Account Director

The Role

This position would suit an ambitious Account Manager/Senior Account Manager/Account Director ready to move into a more challenging role within an agency with ambitious growth plans. The ideal candidate will play a very active part in managing existing business and come with buckets of energy and enthusiasm.

The candidate must have experience running digital campaigns across various media and demonstrate a passion for excellent client servicing and project management. They will be the main point of contact for clients and will be heavily involved in liaising with existing clients as well as the creative and technical teams within the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing digital and traditional marketing campaigns across a portfolio of clients. They will work within a team environment, be extremely process driven and report directly to the Account Director.

The Account Manager / Senior Account Manager / Account Director will be responsible for:

  • Driving revenue from their existing accounts
  • Ensuring that all clients receive a superior level of customer service from the agency. They will also show the ability to add value to client relationships through their understanding of digital marketing activities & experience.
  • They will be responsible for all aspects of project management; taking briefs, estimating costs and timings, managing budgets, scheduling resources, project management, regular reporting to the client and the agency team.
  • Write case studies for completed work.
  • They will need to develop close working relationships with all other departments, including those not based within the agency. These relationships are fundamental to delivering the superior service that they will be judged on.
  • From time to time they will be invited to work on new business pitches. This will be in addition to their usual duties and may require work outside of normal office hours.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

They will have either a traditional digital agency or an integrated agency background, with a strong digital hands-on experience and digital project management experience. They will be a process driven individual who will have the highest client facing skills to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.

  • Experience in an established agency environment.
  • Experience working on digital accounts.
  • Working knowledge of acquisition disciplines used both on and offline. In particular knowledge of search engine marketing, affiliate marketing, web development and online advertising.
  • Understanding of commercial reporting.
  • Ability to work as an integrated part of the team, managing issues as they arise and fostering enthusiasm across the agency.
  • Software packages: Word, Visio, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint.
